Lisa Smith

Position: Locality Project Manager

Having worked for the NHS and local councils for several years I have always had health and wellbeing at the heart of what I do. I love working with people, speaking face to face, hearing their experiences and ideas and trying to work out with them what it is that they can do to be more active in their community.

I have a good eye for detail and also enjoy putting together written information, again helping people to understand clearly what is on offer in their local area and surrounds.

What are you rubbish at but keep doing anyway?: I can cook, but make a really terrible omelette – they always seem to end up dry and burnt. I am always optimisitic and keep trying anyway – how hard can it be?!

If you were a superhero, what would your power be?: I’d love to be able to fly, it appeals to the thrill seeking side of me and would also really help me get around and never be late for anything!

When you grow up, you want to be...: A superhero that can make good omelettes! Just kidding, as I write my own music and lyrics I’d love to be a successful recording artist performing in small venues to a faithful following – no X Factor for me, I’d stay anonymous.
