Community Development

We provide support, training and mentoring to new and existing groups. We tailor services to meet the needs of the community whilst helping groups to make positive changes, tackle social inequality and formulate solutions to local issues.

Services include:

• • Community Audits – identify community assets, issues and needs, develop links with other groups and agencies and potential partnerships;
• • Provide advice, guidance and support to groups in areas such as; organisational structures, governance, operating procedures, policy writing, developing personnel (committee members/trustees), identifying and applying for funding and more;
• • Mentoring support - we can assist groups with the planning and delivery of activities, provide essential training for volunteers including; safe working practices when working with children and young people, safeguarding, sharing resources and best practice;
• • Community Projects – helping build resilient communities through environmental awareness, cohesion, intergenerational and empowerment projects;
• • Events – we can plan, manage and deliver community events and activities including; community fun days, fundraisers and more;
• • Volunteer Management - providing rewarding and meaningful volunteering opportunities.
